For over fifteen years, Clare has worked at the heart of the homecare sector, co-running four Home Instead franchises with her husband across Southwest London and Surrey. Together, they have supported thousands of older people and their families through some of the most challenging and emotionally charged stages of later life, including dementia, frailty and end-of-life care.

Throughout her career, Clare has sat at countless kitchen tables, listened to daughters in tears, reassured sons who feel out of their depth, and guided families as they make difficult decisions about care. Her work has given her a front–row seat to the realities of role reversal – when children begin caring for the parents who once cared for them.

Clare has spoken at community and industry events on dementia awareness, ageing and the emotional impact of caring. Her honest and compassionate approach has resonated particularly with women who find themselves quietly carrying the weight of responsibility within their families.

Her understanding of loss is also personal. Having experienced the early deaths of her own parents, Clare brings both professional insight and lived experience to her work.

Clare lives with her husband and family and continues to support families through her work in care.
